This privacy notice provides you with information about how the Margaret Pyke Trust, with the Population & Sustainability Network (“we”) use the information we collect about you.

Our Training Opportunities

When you sign up to attend one of our training courses or provide us with your details so that you can stay up to date about our training opportunities, we collect your name and email address to enable us to send you emails about training we run.

On occasion we purchase contact details from a third party organisation. If you believe that you have been added to our mailing list by way of a purchased mailing list and you do not believe you consented to your details being passed on then please contact: rosemary@margaretpyke.org

If you have not purchased training from us before but have consented to being contacted about training opportunities then the lawful basis on which we process your information for the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation is consent.

If you have purchased training from us before then we will only contact you about services of a similar nature that we think you would be interested in, in accordance with Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.

General Mailing List

We collect your name and email address to enable us to send you emails and keep you updated on the work of the Margaret Pyke Trust, with the Population & Sustainability Network.

Volunteer Database

We collect your name and email address to enable us to send you emails about sexual and reproductive health volunteer opportunities abroad, which we provide, or which are provided by third party organisations.

If you are interested in any of the volunteer opportunities available then we will ask you to provide us with a CV so that we can pass that onto the third party organisations that require assistance. When you provide us with your CV you are consenting to us passing your CV onto the third party organisation that requires assistance. We will not pass your CV onto any other parties without your permission.

The third party organisations that we work with are almost invariably outside of the EU and are likely to be countries which do not necessarily have adequacy decisions granted by the European Commission and the Trust has not put safeguards in place. When you provide us with your CV you are consenting to your personal data being transferred outside of the EU.
